Washington DC Metro

Looking for hotels near the Washington DC Metro?

Marilyn Matthews and Nancy Riker own and operate Washington D.C. Accommodations, a D.C.-based reservation service. Maps to metro stops in Washington DC are just a few of the services they provide. Marilyn Matthews says: If you're looking for great hotels near the Washington DC Metro, no one will work harder to find you lodgings than we will. And we have hundreds of corporate and private clients in the USA and elsewhere to prove it! Oh, by the way, here's a map.

Says Nancy Riker: We have ideal hotels for you in Washington DC, most of them near metro. Let me explain:

Not only is the metro easily accessible, but certainly a great value if you plan to ride the metro at least 5 times within the same day. The $5 pass is per person, not per family.

The base Metro fare is $1.10 for non-rush hour travel between downtown locations. Children 4 and under ride free. Visiting, the monuments at dusk, is a great time. There will be fewer crowds and the sunsets can be very picturesque.

Most sights are accessible by metro or even a short walk from your nearby hotel. We recommend several major hotel brands, independent hotels, and award-winning boutique hotels and specialty inns. Our hotel selections offer convenience to business, government and local attractions.

The oldest section of downtown between the White House and the Capitol was formerly the heart of DC's political, social and commercial life. Don't miss the historic places and museums located throughout the neighborhood. Metro Center is the closest stop.

Capitol Hill is an elegant 19th century neighborhood. Home to the U.S. Capitol and Union Station. Historic Eastern Market is a bustling farmers market with street vendors, shops and eateries. Capitol South is the closest metro stop.

Adams Morgan is a great place to examine the food and flower stands at the Saturday morning farmers market or have breakfast at one of the many cafes in the area.

The White House is the world's most prestigious address is located in this district. Swarming with parks, gardens, and historical sights. The rooftop terrace of the neighborhood's Hotel Washington has a spectacular panoramic view of the National Mall. McPherson Square is the closest metro stop.

Georgetown is Washington's oldest and most prestigious neighborhood. Shopping is the area's main past time, not to mention the nightlife. Foggy Bottom is your closest stop.
